This week we dove right into our Alaska Marine Studies, which we can't wait to continue next week! We are overjoyed to spend the weekend in Homer, explore tide pools and enjoy each others' company.
The sun seems to be shining, the play ground is drying and everyone is in high spirits. There is not much more we could ask for! Things will be happening quickly now that May is upon us. Make sure to put all of our important dates on your calendar, we have the Newsletter filled up to the end of the year!
ALSO- If your student has a summer birthday, we plan to celebrate it before and during our Final Portfolio Share on May 22 at 1:00pm (The share will be begin at 1:30 after birthday songs are sung!). Feel free to bring a small (preferably healthy) treat!
While we cannot attend Bowman's clean-up this Saturday as we will be at a Math Training at Chugach, we encourage families to come help clean up our playgrounds and neighborhood from 10am-2pm on Saturday! Thanks for helping keep our Earth and our school green.
Check the pictures below to see all the fun we had this week, especially with engineering pig houses to protect from the Big Bad Wolf and the Autism Awareness Walkathon! ENJOY THE SUN :)
Great job Eva D.!
